Chandigarh JBT Recruitment 2023: Education Department, Chandigarh Administration has released the notification for the recruitment of Junior Basic Training (JBT)/ Primary Teacher/ PRT on a regular basis. Eligible candidates can apply online for the Chandigarh JBT Vacancy 2023 from the website chdeducation.gov.in starting from 20 July 2023.

Qualification:

  • Qualification: Graduate + D.Ed/ D.El.ED/ B.Ed + CTET
  • Age Limit : between 21 to 37 years as on 01.01.2023.


Selection Criteria


Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in 

a) Objective Type Test. One objective type tests of 150 Marks will be conducted.
Qualifying marks for test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be
conducted.


b) Written test consisting of Multiple-choice questions will be conducted as under:

  • Total no. of questions: 150
  • Total marks : 150
  • Time : 2 hours 30 minutes

  • Arithmetical and Numerical Ability : 15 questions

  • "Test of Punjabi language and Comprehension : 10 questions
  • "Test of Hindi Language and Comprehension : 10 questions
  • "Mathematics :  15 questions
  • General Science :  15 questions
  • Social Science :  15 questions
